WORLD LUPUS DAY !
This day will focus on public awareness of this under-recognized and under-apprecaited disease. Those with lupus (but not everyone) may has arthritis, butterfly rash on their face and has to lock themselves in a room to stay out of the sun.
What is LUPUS ?
Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects millions of people, directly and indirectly. It is under-recognized as a global health problem by the public and by health professionals and governments, driving the need for greater awareness. Early detection, diagnosis and treatment of lupus help to slow the possible debilitating effects of this disease.
